Synopsis:
Nightveil summons to Femforce HQ both the Femforce and the
Sentinels of Justice, who have been recently disbanded by
the government. She has been struggling with the moral
implications of bringing Thunderfox to life and seeks advice
from the heroes regarding her goddess like act of creating
life. Paragon suggests that Laura use her mystic powers to
observe Thunderfox and see if her existence poses any kind
of concern or threat. After viewing how Thunderfox has
settled into her humanity (as depicted in the second story),
the heroes assure Nightveil that she has done well and
needn't have any doubts about her actions. As Colt and Tara
propose Thunderfox's membership in the Femforce, T.C.
Fremont barges into the meeting and announces that he is
closing down the FF's Jungle Island headquarters and
ordering everyone off the property. As the heroes go their
separate ways, a parting taunt from Stella is enough to let
Tara know that the conniving schemer was behind T.C.'s
actions. |

Notes:
This story marks the first appearance of the Sentinels
since the Earth / Vardax war. The group was disbanded after
its temporary government permit expired.... Paragon has
essentially disavowed his Charlie Starrett identity.... The
appearances by Paragon immediately before this story are as
the Latigo Kid in his own title... Paragon assumes his usual
strong, sometimes arrogant leadership even though he is only
an invited guest at FF HQ.... Stardust asks about joining
the FF for the first time.... The FF learn for the first
time of Denny Brant's death, not knowing he has become part
of the Shade.... She-Cat makes her first appearance in the
Femforce title of the costume she introduced
(chronologically) at the end of She-Cat 1 (1).... She-Cat's
identity is listed as the one given to her in her solo
series. |
2nd Story: Here Comes Thunderfox (19 pgs)
Credits:
James Misson, story; Rik Levins, art / plot assist / inks; John
Dell / George Brycki, inks; Bob Pinaha / Walt Paisley, letters; Bill
Black, edits
Synopsis:
Thunderfox and Nelson settle down to life in Nelson's apartment
while she adjusts to her new human form. She adopts a secret
identity, Lynn, and impresses Nelson's collaborator Ray with her
artistic prowess as Nelson's assistant and model. In the midst of
establishing a home life she begins a career as a super-heroine,
impressing Colt and Tara (observing from the 1st story) enough to
consider her admission to the Femforce.
Others |

Time |

Notes:
This is the only solo Thunderfox story in which no other AC
heroes take part... Rad's cameo is in the form of a drawing Lynn
makes to impress Nelson with her ability... Lynn's first civilian
clothes include a T-shirt that resembles Dragonfly's costume.... The
time in which the story takes place is condensed as the FF and
Sentinels view it so they can make their judgement in a single
session.
