Synopsis:
Ms. Victory, responding to Tom Kelly's summons, arrives at
the Hall of Heroes to find a gigantic She-Cat menacing the
Hall and other nearby tourist attractions. Ms V soon
discovers the giant is really a robot and destroys it. The
real She-Cat arrives, and Kelly tells the two heroines that
Dr. Pretorius is behind the attacks. The scene shifts to the
previous evening, as Laura tries to pull the enraged Tara
off Stella. The distraction gives Stella time to club Tara
with a bottle and flee for the elevator. Nightveil uses her
magic to make Stella have the same terrifying experience of
being hunted that she inflicted upon Kipling. The experience
so terrifies Stella that when she returns to reality she
wants nothing to do with the tiger skin. Tara thanks Laura
on Kipling's behalf for her intervention. |

Notes:
McFarland is a newscaster out to destroy the reputation
of the FF, paying for it this time courtesy of a blow from
She-Cat.... Ms.V recognizes that the giant She-Cat is a
robot by the old costume it is wearing.... Stella is seen in
one of her rare appearances without her wig.... Ms.V flies
for the first time in the modern FF stories.... 1st app. of
the Femforce's Florida, as seen by the local attractions

calmly and gives Synn Thorazine to soothe her. Sneering at Joan's
regard for Synn even after a ten-year separation, She-Cat sets out to
find Dr.Pretorius, leaving Tara wondering what she has gotten herself
into by working with the Femforce.

Notes:
An important 4-pg story that reintroduces a major character from
the Paragon days.... This story foreshadows Ms V's transformation
into Rad.... the term "synesthesia" is used for the first time at
AC... Synn's full name is not revealed until FF 6 (1).... Synn does
not show the lighter, arrested development side of her nature that
she later does.... She-Cat's brief recap of Synn's origin is told
more fully in FF 6 (1).
3rd Story: Copy Cats (4 pgs)

Bill Black, writer / artist

She-Cat robot is still wearing old costume.... She-Cat is rightly
more concerned about the damage the robots may do to the Femforce's
reputation than to any threat from the robots themselves....
Dr.Pretorius, though not seen explicitly, is presumably part of the
army of villains recruited during the Shroud Wars trilogy in FF
34-36.
