Recipes:
The Chief is an X-Men the Movie Profressor Xavier. He had
two-part putty arranged so as to give him hair and a full beard.
Otherwise he's untouched, even his wheelchair.
Negative Man is a Flash from the JLA boxed set. I painted
him and then glued rubber bands around his hands and head,
then gave those a white wash so as to make them seem more like
bandages. N-Man is a shaved and repainted Aquaman from the
same set. He is meant to have a kind of yellowish sheen to
him to signify his energy form. I am thinking about other ways
to do it now that it didn't come out quite as I was hoping
it would.
Mento is a Green Lantern from the boxed JLA set. He has the
Golden Age Flash's helmet with a couple of missiles from some
other action figure jammed into the helmet, along with a little
putty work for his mask and insignia.
Rita is a Silver Age Wonder Woman from the boxed JLA set.
She had her hair redone, glove and boots and skirt made from
putty. Her twelve-inch version, when I get around to it, is
a twelve-inch Fairchild from the Wildstorm line, and her one-inch
version is a Wasp from the Avengers boxed set. When I get around
to that. Obviously, given Rita's current painted state, it
won't be soon.
Beast Boy is a Kid Flash from the two-pack box. His mask tips
are also Snowbird's, the mask itself (not my favorite sculpting
job; I may redo it) is putty, as are his gloves. The various
animals are...various animals. Repainted, natch.
Robotman
is a Martian Manhunter from the JLA boxed set. I took the cape
off, sculpted the jaw, chest camera, and rivets, shaved down
his shoulder cape assembly, his boots, and his belt. I painted
him copper since that was always what I thought the orange
metal was trying to convey. All in all, I think he turned out
better than I'd expected and I'm quite pleased.
