Avengers - The Busiek Era

Marvel releases a new wave of Avengers figures.

Firestar : A repainted Firestar, with a haircut

Jack of Hearts : Thor from Avengers boxed set with helmet wings removed. Milliput added for boot cuffs. Heart stickers added on collar and boots. Extensive detailing using fine craft markers. Glitter dust was added to the blue paint for a sparkling effect.

Justice : Robin, with cape trimmed from a DragonballZ figure and sculpted in place with wire and milliput. Gold sticker for chest emblem decoupaged in place.

Silverclaw : Savage Land Storm body, Savage She Hulk head and Tigra claws. The hair was resculpted. Neckless was added from craft lace and little sugar balls! Earrings were added. Other details wre added with wire and Sculpey.

Triathlon : Wonderman body with Falcon head. Gold foil and black wire for chest insignia.

USAgent : A Batman Bane figure with a Power Ranger head. Shield was from scratch from plastic and milliput. Knee and elbow pads were from a roller blade Barbie figure! Baton was from a Barbie figure too! Craft lace was added for the straps. Shield was sanded to give it an "energy" appearance.
