Ghost
Rider: He is a simple repaint of the first figure. He looked
ridiculous with the glow in the dark skill, so I painted the
skull an off white, then gave it several washes of black and
brown to get the “dead” look. The spikes were removed
and replaced with more realistic looking ones and I painted
him to match his appearance in the books.
Nick
Fury: This figure is still one of my favorites. The base is
an X-Man, only this time I left the jacket and details intact.
I removed the jacket to sculpt on a shirt and his holsters on
his chest, then placed the jacket back on him. I sculpted the
hair and added his eye patch with Sculpey. Boots and knee armor
were added, as was a holster for a Desert eagle pistol, taken
from a Metal Gear figure. I gave him his usual scruffy appearance
using a ZIG 005 pen. The finishing touch is his cigar, which
he can hold and “smoke”.
SHIELD
Agents 1 & 2: These two figures are modified Resident Evil
figures, a Jill Valentine and a Claire Redfield. Both have added
harnesses and holster from Sculpey and weapons from the Virus
line. I figured if I had Fury, he’d need some agents.
HYDRA
Troopers: These guys are repaints of the Captain Britain figure,
which was a repaint of the Guardian figure, who was a repaint…you
catch my drift. The guns came from Spawn 4. If Fury had agents,
he needed some bad guys. I plan to make a Baron von Strucker
soon to go along with the set.
