Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Initiative
Having released three waves of Buffy action figures, with a fourth in the works, Moore Action Collectibles releases this new line, based around the events and characters of season four’s Initiative storyline.

This wave includes four figures, two of which being the slayer herself. Buffy Summers comes as she’s never been seen in plastic before, in her disguise as an Initiative scientist, from the gripping season four installment "Goodbye Iowa". The second Buffy of this range is based upon the season’s penultimate episode "Primreview" in which the Scooby Gang combine their essences to invoke the power of the slayer, thus creating this super Buffy.

Also in this line comes Dr Engleman. The Initiative scientist who worked on project 314 and was eventually killed and reanimated by his co-creation Adam, was against the slayer from the start, seeing her for the threat that she was. Engleman comes packaged with an autopsied demon.

This surprising line is completed by Xander Harris, in his disguise as an Initiative soldier, as he accompanies Buffy on the undercover infiltration of the secret military base. This figure was rather unexpected, following the release of a different military Xander, based on the episode "Halloween" Each figure comes packaged on Buffy the Vampire Slayer cards, complete with accessories and display stands.
