Recipes:
Amphibian is a Shining Knight with Mirror Master belt and
Nemesis head, obviously.
Arcanna is a Black Canary but repainted and with the boot cuffs
and choker necklace added.
Dr. Spectrum is a John Stewart with Atom Smasher head and Flash
legs to bulk him up a little. His crystals are craft store baubles.
Haywire was fun because with the Jackson Pollock-style lining
on his suit I could go crazy with the marker. It also let me
actually sign the figure, on the back of his leg.
Hyperion, the figure is an Orion with Superman head and cape.
The button is the top of a thumb tack.
Speed Demon, He's a Flash with Mirror Master head and sculpted
glasses. The use of the MM head was literally a last second
decision.
Ape X : Cast torso and arms of JLU Ultrahumanite, Head
cast of Gorilla Grodd with sculpted mouth and Hair with Apoxie
Sculpt, Mobile Chair - Foamcore and Cardboard
Mink : Cast JLU Katma Tui Body, arms and legs, Cast
JLU Fire Head, Coat Vinyl and Fur Sculpted with Apoxie sculpt
Power Princess is Dr. Light's body, Fire's head, a shield made
from a blister package, and a belt made from cardstock.
Professor Imam is Lex Luthor plus a lot of green stuff epoxy
putty, a piece from the parts bin, and a cardstock eye logo.
Moonglow: Black Canary body, Wonder Woman head.
Nighthawk: JLU amazo body with wings. Wings cut out and 2
jlu batman capes cut, shaped with kneadatite into place. Head
is a STAS superman head sanded and shaped.
Redstone: JLU hawk head and orion body base with rubber bands
for boot tops
Thermite: jlu flash body base with jlu sand head, sanded and
shaped. The boot and glove tops are rubber bands cut jagged.
Nuke was made with a Nemesis head and body, sculpting for
the boot & arm bands |
