Jean Grey Legacy
As Charles Xavier¹s first student, Jean Grey was a founding
member of the X-Men. Controlling both telekinetic and telepathic
abilities, she was arguably one of the most powerful mutants
ever to live. As her codename Phoenix would indicate, death
has never been final for her. With every resurrection came a
new and unique appearance.
MARVEL GIRL 1967
Early in their heroic adventures, Professor Xavier allowed
Jean to design new costumes for the team. Jean chose to give
herself a much more feminine look, which set her apart from
the men on the team. Her new costume incorporated typical styles
of the time; an off the shoulder one-piece miniskirt with go-go
boots.

JEAN GREY 1991
One of her most recognizable looks came about in the 90s.
This costume featured many pouches and pockets, a very common
trait for most of the X-Men at the time.

PHOENIX 2001
As senior instructors at Xavier¹s School for the Gifted,
the X-Men donned new matching uniforms that had a more street
wear appearance. Interchangeable leather jackets, pants, and
boots were available. While she would formally wear a long black
trench coat, Jean more casually would wear this ribbed turtleneck
with the uniform belt and pants.
