It was announced today that fledgling toy company GlorbiHamma
CinJez Studios, an offshoot of the Fwoosh Action Figure
Factory, won the rights to produce toys based on the upcoming
Peter Jackson prequel, JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit. In an unprecedented
maneuver that shocked both Hollywood and the Toy Industry, GHCJ Studios
was able to bargain for not only the Toy License, but input in the
production and design of the Feature Film itself, hand-in-hand with
WETA! The founder of GHCJ Studios, toy re-designer Glorbes,
gathered a team of fan-favorite craftsman to work closely with WETA
and Jackson to create a line worthy of the name "Tolkien".
The Crew:
Zombihamma, a Special Effects Wizard who's worked
in the industry for years. Zombi will be not only be designing
two figures from Series One, he will oversee the Dragon SPFX
on the film.
Cin320, Design Diva Extraordinaire, creates two of
Series One's figures and serves as Costume Designer on the
Film, personally overseeing the wardrobe for the film's many
Elves.
Actorjez, a well -known toymaker and professional
actor, pulls a double paycheck by designing two figures in the
line and playing the role of "Beorn" in the film.
And Glorbes himself, world famous for his re-designs
of Classic American Icons, contributes two figures and
oversees the complete visual design of the Film.
