Recipes :
The Beetle: Made from a 6" Insect Armor Beetle head,
Silver Surfer body, SMC Buzzing Beetle wings and shell,
Nick Fury backpack, Xevoz ball joints, and sculpted boots/belt.
The inner wings are removable and both sets are fully poseable.
Constantine: Made from a DCD Black
Mask body, McFarlane 'Real World' Neo head, He-man hands, and
a custom holy shotgun made from about 10 different scratch
parts. The watch on his wrist has a leather strap, detailed
watch face. His sulfur forearm tattoos are movie-accurate.
Hayato: Made from a Movie Mr Fantastic head, Bullseye body,
creech-tendril hair for the belts, and a modified Xevoz sword
for Hayato's Plasma Sword. The headpiece, forearm/wrist armor,
boots, and leg cuff were all hand-sculpted. His left knee is
showing through a sculpted-torn-open part of his body suit,
reatining all articulation. His shirt was made from scratch
with fabric. There's a magnet in his hand which allows him
to hold his sword easily in any position due to the handle
being wrapped with wire.
Jin Saotome: Made from the same
parts as last time, basically a ML Ghost Rider body, Ryu import
mini-bust, and about 15 different parts. The new additions include
an entirely new sculpted chest with lapels, zipper, and
pockets. Forarm straps, belt loops, and lower leg cuffs/bellbottoms
were added to mirror Jin's true look from the video game.
He is now 100% accurate to Capcom's artwork of Jin.
Dark Magneto: Magneto was made
from a ML magneto head/helmet/chestplate with modifications,
Bullseye body, sculpted arm/waist/leg bands, and a modified
Spawn cape. This is the darker look of Magneto from the Marvel
vs Capcom game with the glowing red eyes, shaded face, and
an overall darker/more dangerous look. (Pick the hard kick
button when selecting the character and you'll get this version,
heh)

Matrix Morpheus |
Matrix Morpheus: Made from a
McFarlane Morpheus2 head/hands, ML Professor X body, Movie
Blade trenchcoat with added duster shoulders/back. The coat
has a gloss/matte paint job detailing the alligator scale coat
he wore in the movie, but unfortunatly you can't really
tell in the photos unless you look close.
Psylocke: Made from a Abby Chase Danger
Girl head with modifications/ sculpted hair, ML Black
Widow body with modified thighs/legs, sculpted-agumented
breasts (no laughing!) ML Elektra arms. Her ninja-spike-chain
was made from some accessory to the McFarlane Matrix 'Chateau'
display, the speartips I think. I made Psylocke to
mirror her Marvel vs Capcom2 design with the more
anime-ish look to her face and body.
Backdrop/Set diorama: Made from all
Pier 1 Imports items! The wall is a bamboo placemat, the
circular floor is a rattan placemat, and the little barrels
are napkin rings all glued together to make the backdrop.
Only cost $8.00 to make. |
