Distant Thunder studios would like you to see the Teen Titans….as
you’ve never seen them before!
The Batcave has served as the base of operations for one man’s
war on crime for many years. It’s been referred
to as a sanctuary, a fortress, and a refuge.
But tonight, it is the scene of a crime
Robin, second to be known as the Boy Wonder, returns to the
cave to find a faithful friend unconscious, and a mentor missing.
The Dark Knight has been, at the very least, abducted. At
most…is not something Robin is prepared for. The
list of foes capable of this crime is a short one, but very
formidable. He’s going to need help.
Robin features 28 points of articulation, and comes with birdarang
and staff.
The first ally is an obvious one. Nightwing has grown
into his own man now, a leader and a hero all his own. He
tries to relieve Robin’s fears, though his own boil beneath. They
need to consult another of their team before doing anything
irrational.
Not far across town, Batgirl has carved her way though the
ranks of yet another member of Gotham’s underworld.
Together, they come up with a list of suspects, with none
other than Ra’s Al Ghul topping the list. But a
team as powerful as this one knows to take on the Demon’s
Head without the Dark Knight is suicide, and with his life possibly
at stake, they can take no chances.
But who do they turn to? The core members of the Justice League
off-world, and they can’t enlist the reserves without
compromising Batman’s secret identity. So, they
need a small but powerful group of heroes they can trust. They
need family.
Nightwing has an idea…
Nightwing features 34 points of articulation, nunchuks, and
batarangs.
Batgirl features a cloth cape, 26 points of articulation,
and batarangs.
He calls on the Titans.
As their second in command, Cyborg too has grown into his
own man. He has modified his tech with the newest and best of
everything. The team’s resident powerhouse, Cyborg
still fights to prove he is still more man than machine. Beast
Boy as grown up some as well, but his greatest asset is still
his youthful imagination, giving him the ability to become any
animal he can think of.
Cyborg features 30 points of articulation, interchangeable
arm cannon, rocket launcher, and comes with Beast Boy as a monkey
figure.
As if this isn’t enough, Starfire adds her power of
flight, super-strength, and energy blasts. Although alien
in origin, she has grown past some of her teenage awkwardness,
as her teamates have. There seems to be a budding romance
between her and Nightwing, but she worries he may be going back
toward his first crush, Batgirl.
Raven may one day be the most powerful sorceress on
earth. She worries about he power getting the best of
her, but with time has come confidence, and now the unsure,
distant girl is transforming into a strong, sure member of the
Titan family.
Starfire features 24 points of articulation and starbolt attachments
Raven features 24 points of articulation, removable cloak,
and energy attachments.
Combining the Batcave’s computer and Cyborg’s
tech, the Titans are able to unscramble the signal coming from
one of Batman’s homing beacons and lock in on it. If
there’s one thing the Titans know, however…
..it’s that things are never this easy.
