With the growing popularity of Marvel Minimates, now is the
perfect time to introduce a spin-off line. A line that does
not include a Spider-Man variant in every wave. A line that
celebrates the lesser-known Marvel characters. A line for collectors
only! Because we all know these characters just won’t
sell as well as Wolverine.
We are proud to present – the Minor Marvel Minimates!
Spider-Woman and Savage She-Hulk
Two of the grooviest women in 1970’s Marvel, who never became as popular
as their male counterparts. You can make them mini, but you can’t keep
these fine ladies down. Can you dig it?
Sunfire and Banshee
When Professor X recruited the “All-New, All-Different X-Men”, these
two made the roster. Neither stuck around for long, being “different” and
all, and as a result, they remain minor characters. The other X-Men, however,
have provided collectors with 119 different figures, 112 of which are Wolverine.
Frog-Man and the White Rabbit
He’s the son of the former villain Leap Frog, trying to do some good with
his father’s old suit. She’s got a thing for “Alice in Wonderland” and
is the closest thing to an arch-enemy that Frog-Man has, considering they fought
- once.
The Trapster and the Sandman
These two villainous pals are part of the original Frightful
Four team. Their
career as an evil duo –Sand/Trap–never was quite up to par.
The Wizard and Medusa
He’s a genius who manipulates gravity for evil! She’s
the wife of the leader of a hidden civilization! Together they
helped found the Frightful
Four and battle the Fantastic Four, with an impressive record of never winning.
The original members of the Frightful Four
MODOK and AIM Agent
MODOK often is called “the big head of evil”. With
the help of his group of sinister inventors, AIM, MODOK is
a menace to good people with normal-sized
heads everywhere!
