RELEASE: Good news for all of the fans of Marvel’s 5” figures.
Marvel and ToyBiz have teamed up with toy company, Plastic
Knights to bring us some exclusive new lines based on
the old ToyBiz molds. The line will feature a few new head
sculpts,
but will basically make do with the existing ToyBiz molds similar
to the Marvel Gold line a number of years back. President of
Plastic Knight Toys, a man who creepily goes only
by the name Brother Voodoo, said “We are delighted to
be working with ToyBiz in getting these figures out to the
specialty market;
we think there is still a huge demand for these figures with
collectors.” When asked about the new project a ToyBiz
executive reiterated the company stance towards the collector
market, “We can’t always target the collector’s
market, but occasionally we do get to do something for them
and have a great deal of fun doing it, this project was fun!” He
also stated they look forward to a long association with Plastic
Knights Toys, and bringing more of the Marvel Universe
to the fans. One thing about it fanboys, Plastic Knights and
ToyBiz are starting off with a bang with a total of 7 lines
to be shown
here, and two additional that may see the light of day by year’s
