The Marvel Legends "Stranger than Fiction" Wave:
They are among the weird, uncanny, enigmatic, mysterious,
and strangest characters of Marvel Comics. One is a mutant,
one is a monster, one is a scientist from the microverse, one
is an experimental computer with a humanoid form, and lastly,
one is the collective essence of an ancient alien race.
The Mandrill is a mutant with chemically - based powers that
can attract and enslave adult women. He also possesses super
human strength.
The Griffin use to be a normal human being. He was a criminal
who was transformed by the Secret Empire into a super villain.
He was given a mane, wings, claws, and a tail and became the
monster called the Griffin.
The Psycho Man was the chief scientist and ruler of the five
planets in the Microverse.
He chose to conquer Earth with his technological might but
was defeated by the Fantastic Four.
Quasimodo is the experimental computer created by the Mad
Thinker. He was meant to be used as a weapon to destroy the
Fantastic Four. Abandoned by the Mad Thinker, Quasimodo was
given a humanoid form by the Silver Surfer. His destructive
character made him one of the dangerous villain on Earth.
Probably the strangest of all, the Stranger is the embodiment
of an alien race who possesses cosmic and psionic powers. Enigmatically,
he has employed his powers to destroy Earth and also save the
planet.
The Mandrill, the Griffin, the Psycho Man, Quasimodo, and
the Stranger are the latest Marvel Legends action figures in
the Marvel Legends collection called the “Stranger than Fiction” Wave.
