Justice League Direct

Next spring Airmax Animated teams with DC Direct to bring
you a line of Justice League Unlimited figures that you will
only be able to find at your local comic store. We caught up
with Airmax to discuss the upcoming line and here's what he
had to say:
"Well, first off, this line is in scale with the current
Mattel JLU line. That was one of the things that really attracted
me to this project in the first place."
That's not all, the other benefit of this direct market line
is that it opens the door for several character who other wise
wouldn't, or couldn't be made for this line to appear in figure
form:
"Yeah man, isn't that great?! That was the other aspect
of this project that really made this deal irresistible to me.
The chance work on characters like the Question, who is so important
to the cartoon, but who previously had been off limits was just
too much for me to resist."
And the list of names doesn't stop at Charlton characters
either - apparently every character under the DC banner is free
game. That includes Charlton characters, Wildstorm characters
and every character that has appeared in the Animated DCU thus
far (including characters from the Batman Animated series, Superman
the Animated Series, Batman Beyond and Static).
The future looks bright for JLU fans - so bright in fact
that we suggested including a free pair of sunglasses with every
figure:
"Um! no! that's just dumb. Really, really dumb." Airmax
responded before wandering off muttering something about new
sneakers he had to buy and projects he still had to procrastinate
on.
